I am a professional artist, mother, wife, writer, and motivational coach.
I fell in love with painting and creating after a severe trauma, and was awakened to the healing powers of creating art. Painting to inspire and up lift has become my passion.

My artwork is about stepping into a place where we feel the truest version of ourselves. It lets us feel like anything is possible. I love bringing light from the dark and showing how our past does not have to dictate our future.

You Matter

It is easy to get lost in the demands of life or the trauma of our past. The demands of daily life, in one way or another, will always be there. But, there is so much more to life, and you know it in your soul.

You may be weary, tired, or stalled, but you inherently know something deeper and more meaningful is happening beneath the surface.

You are a brave soul who clings to light and hope when the world feels dark. You know that with God, all things are possible and work together for the good of those in Christ Jesus.

My artwork will transport you to a world where anything and everything is possible, a world full of light and color. You will discover your own inner beauty and strength, and no matter what you’re facing, you’ll walk away feeling a little lighter and more prepared to embark on your unique purpose.

My Whole World

I am so blessed to live out my dream of bringing beauty into the world and seeing others moved by it. The best part is that I get to do it alongside my amazing husband, Robert, and our son, Spencer. When I’m not painting, I love spending time with them and our two dogs, singing, and writing.

My Story

Childhood & Creative Exploration

First Painting: In elementary school, I created a colored pencil drawing of The Cross on Calvary on Easter Morning and Winter Wonderland Snowmen, which both won awards. But, I couldn’t recreate it…

Art Education Begins: At the age of 30, I started taking classes at Awken with Delight to teach my son art appreciation as part of our homeschool curriculum. It began as a need for an elective, but with each passing month, I started painting consistently, and my skills increased exponentially. I then took classes with the Milan Art Institute and found healing in my painting.

Artistic Voice Emerges: I am still discovering my voice, as I don’t think it ever remains stagnant. My past, present, and future inform my art from small things in nature to stories with my son. I paint what I feel or what I want to feel when things are hard. My unique artistic style has given me the experience and confidence to embrace my creative journey, dedicating my free time away from work and family to refine my voice and style.
